On January 9, the City Club of Eugene welcomed Randi Bowers-Payne as its new Managing Director.

Bowers-Payne brings more than 15 years of public-sector and nonprofit leadership experience to this new role, including leadership roles in Risk Management and Human Resources for the City of Eugene and Eugene School District/4J. “I believe people and communities are at their best when they have opportunities to listen, question, and learn from diverse perspectives and experiences,” said Bowers-Payne. “City Club does that through its mission, and I’m thrilled to support City Club in cultivating inclusive, diverse, and thriving community dialogue.”

“Randi’s leadership experience and relationship-building skills are a wonderful fit with City Club—our whole community will benefit from her work in this new role,” said Board President Kaarin Knudson. “We are thrilled to combine her talents and skills with the passion this community has for civic engagement.”
